SELF-STUDY CLASSES

Audition Technique Self-Study Class

3 Classes - With KC Clyde - $78

A great class option for actors in time zones that make our other classes tough to attend, or actors for whom in-person classes are financially out of reach at the moment.

You will get sides each class with the rest of our (Zoom class) students, you will do your script analysis, and tape them on your own.  Then, you will get access to the class playback, which will include in-depth script analysis, discussions about the world/genre/tone, and the process of bringing a human being to life from the page.

This will allow you to see what you’ve missed in the piece and identify the holes in your script analysis and your artistry. You will also get to see what other actors in the class did with the same piece and the way we coach them through it.

Audition Technique Self-Study + Live Class

4 Classes - With KC Clyde - $104

Classes 1-3 will be the same format as the class to the left.

Class 4: you will attend a live ‘callback’ class at the studio (on Zoom).  You will prep one of the assignments (of your choosing) from classes 1-3 as a callback and you will get coached on it in class.

The callback class is a completely different conversation.  Now that you have all the script analysis info (from the playback), this class is about going deeper into character work, the way you would with a real callback.  More specificity, more layers, stronger relationships, etc.

Then, KC will talk to you individually about where you are, and how to take your work to the next level. He will also answer any questions that came up for you in classes 1-3.

SCRIPT ANALYSIS

Online Script Analysis Intensive

With KC Clyde

Script analysis is 50% of your work as an actor.  When you get coached, your coach is not teaching you how to ACT during your session, they are usually pointing out what you missed in the SCRIPT.
